On Monday we received the last piece of paperwork to make all of our adoption paperwork up to date...again. Nothing with this adoption seems to be on the fast track because, if you recall, we started updating all of that paperwork back in December! I'm just glad to have this last piece of paper in my hot little hand. This particular piece of paper is our immigration paperwork that we will need to enter back into the United States with our son. I was stressing out a bit, because it expired back on April 22nd. Although we had submitted the new paperwork to immigration we had not heard back and, of course, there is always concern that they didn't get it or something went wrong. However, Monday our fears were relieved.
Now, on to a referral please! Although, it sounds like there is actually more paperwork that has to be re-certified and sent over to Ethiopia when that happens. Bring it on, we are ready!
