A new firehouse opened near us and had an open house today. We thought Mooky would get a kick out of seeing all of the big trucks and we thought she was feeling well enough to go. She was pretty excited to go, but when we got there she seemed a little afraid of how big the trucks were. It was interesting for us to see it since we have several friends that are firefighters. We were also interested because our next door neighbors house burned down a while back. It was good to find out that with the new firehouse they should have a 5 minute response time.
