Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

Goings on

Just a quick update to record a few adoption goings on around here.

Today we went and got the very last of our shots for traveling over to Ethiopia.  Feels good to be done and prepared.  A couple of families did end up getting court dates so we are hoping it isn't out of the realm of possibility for us to travel before court closures as well.  Please be praying with us for this!

Last Thursday we got word that baby boy is sick.  He has recurring wheezy bronchitis.  I had actually just asked in the five monthly questions we are allowed to ask, whether he still had this.  Guess I wasted a question on that one, huh?  He is on antibiotics (yet another reason to come home soon, how many rounds of antibiotics does one baby need!) and we expect to get this report that he is sick a couple more times.  It's an orphanage, what can you do?

We also turned in the very last of our paperwork yesterday.  Wait, that made it sound like there wouldn't be more...just the last of this round of paperwork.  It was not exactly time sensitive, but had to be done before travel.  Once again, it just feels good to have it done.

To be honest, we've been trying to get a lot of stuff done so that if we do get to travel before the mid-August closures we won't be running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

Anyway, that's the update.
