Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

The Rodeo Parade

Mooky loves horses. The first time she saw a pony at a fair we had a church, we couldn't keep her away from it. She was not even a year old so we felt she was too young to ride it, but every time we walked away from the pony she would run back to it. So, when the Rodeo Parade came to town (an all horse parade) we decided to take her to it. The parade was quite long and quite chilly, but we had a good time.Ronald McDonald! We have several Ronald McDonald bath toys so I think that is how Lydia recognized him. Yes, we do eat at McDonald's too often, but there are no Ronald images at our McDonald's!

A very miniature pony. I honestly don't know how this pony pulled that woman the whole parade route. A lot of the big horses were sweating, so this guy must have really been working hard!

Mooky and Daddy. Lydia comes by her love of horses honestly. Her dad's family lived out in the country and raised and showed horses when he was a kid. Sorry Mooky, Mommy is not up for cleaning stables. Maybe we can get you riding lessons someday.
